04/30/2008: "For those of us who haven't majored in Japanese history.."

I've gotten the questions several times regarding where I'll be in Japan, so I figured I'd make up a quick map showing roughly what part I'll be in. I'm not sure if my answers have ever made a whole lot of sense, so hopefully this will clear things up a bit.

Basically: I'll be in Shuunan-shi (Shuunan city), which is in Yamaguchi-ken ( "-prefecture), which is on the island of Honshuu (main island) in Japan.

Japan>Honshuu>Yamaguchi Pref.>Shuunan City

Now, I just need my visa..
