05/07/2008: "[At Work] Stupid fever.. it be making me the crazies"

Looks like I've caught some sort of bug, as I've been feeling really down/out of it since sometime yesterday. I tried to get some rest, but I couldn't sleep at all last night and now I just feel really headache-y and have a fever. Oh, joy. To add to the fun, this is one of my longest working day of the week.

Also of note, today is my last day of classes for... quite a long, long while. I just have to write up one more assignment, do a presentation, and two finals. Then, I'll be graduating in the next two weeks. It's.. interesting, to say the least.

Tomorrow night, they have a dance party thing at the place where I work for all the students (since it's almost the end of the session). I planned on going, but if this whole sick thing continues, I should probably not attend (due greatly to the fact that it sucks to stand around and make small talk when your head's being crushed in a vice). I guess we'll see how I'm feeling tomorrow. If I do go, I should wear something fancy/nice, which means I need to bring a change of clothes with me to work (there is such a thing as overdressed when your job involves sitting behind a desk at a computer and troubleshooting username and laptop wireless issues). Does any of this really matter? Not really, but I don't really have anything of note to talk about, so I ramble.

Still waiting on my visa.. blah. It should come soon, but if it doesn't, I'm going to have to go later and cancel my week long, two city plan in Japan and go straight from the US to go work. Right now, I'm just hoping it'll get here. Can't leave the country without it.

Anyway! That's about it from me. I'm at work, I'm sick, and I'm watching teacher-training videos that I'm recording for someone. Woo.. fun.
